can someone tell me where the crank postitioning sensor (POS) is?

can someone tell me where the crank postitioning sensor (POS) is?

my car hesistates every once in awhile upon startup and sometimes during driving. i think i need to clean metal shavings off of the sensor but i dont know where the damned thing is. i found the REF crank sensor that was right above the oil pan... my chiltons gives crappy animated pics...help please

There are 2 CPS's. One is located on the bell housing of the tranmission, the other is right below the crank pulley. You can test the sensors using a volt meter.
