Need Help: What Tires, and Where?

I did a search but did not come up with what I was looking for. I figured the best people to ask about auto products were those who would buy a car for what it had to offer rather than it's popularity (ie: a Maxima) and conversly I would hope that you would be able to reccomend a good tire based on it's performance rather than how much it is marketed.

*Here is what I am looking for:

size - 225/50/17(ideally) or 235/45/17
cost - around 120.00

*What I need help finding:

Brand - Nitto, Yokohama, Bridgestone etc.
Where to buy - the cheapest place

The tires I have now are Nitto 450's and as expected they lasted a little more than a year. Any tire that performs better than these (I know they arn't that great) for the price range would be what I am looking for. I will need some new tires next month and would appreciate any help.

I wasn't very happy with my Nitto 450's, do to the noise and less than stellar traction. Would Dunlop SP8000 be better, what about Yokohama ES100? I bought my Nitto's from discount for a fair price and will be going back to them unless any of you know of any place cheaper. Is there anything in the price range of 120 better than the Dunlops or Yokohama's?

Check out www.tirerack.com they have some excellent prices, and there is a lot of user feedback.

Nitto 450's

or

Yokohama AVS ES100

The dunlop 8000 have mixed reviews and are a little more expensive, but I am still considering them.

Basically I want a tire that will out perform the Nitto's I have now.
