? For The Extremists

I was wondering....does anyone here have their bumper cracks molded in to make it look like one piece?

OR

Is it pointless and worthless cuz it might crack back open?

don't waste your time. any time you get bumped (or bump into someone yourself) in a parking lot or anywhere, the bumper will flex and crack along those seams. just not worth all the work to make it seamless considering it will crack and look worse the second someone taps your bumper.

That's what I would have thought. I think it might look good though.

Re: ? For The Extremists

Redmax does.

And on my girlfriends' Integra, we had the bumpers and sideskirts molded in. But we just had the whole car repainted and more work done, and during that, we unmolded the front bumper. It's great for a show only car, but during daily driving, it sucks. We never had a problem with the seams cracking, but she hit a tire a van threw up and it cracked the front bumper and it was a major pain to fix since everything is one piece, you can't remove it.

I'd suggest only molding the back bumper and maybe the sideskirts (pointless on a sedan though) if you want to mold something. I'm about to have the wing on my car molded in, but that's a zero stress area and cracks won't be a concern.
