New pics of my car w/18x8.5's and Supercharger

I took some pics of my car with the 18's on and the supercharger. The pics came out pretty bad and the scanner made em worse, but you get the idea.

Exterior with new Enkei CP1 18x8.5's:

The tires are 245/40/18 Nitto 555's. To my surprise these rims don't really look any wider then my 17x8's with 235/45/17's.

Thanks for all the compliments guys.

Sprint, your pretty ignorant. I bought the rims and tires myself. I also bought all the gauges and pods myself. The blower was a Christmas present from my family. Think before you talk.

I have been eyeing those wheels for a while now. Your car makes me want a 4th gen....seriously. Too bad my 5th gen is probably worth about $8000 and I will be stuck in it for eternity.

Thanks guys!

Will: The caffeines are sitting in my car right now. My friend with a '96 Camaro wants to buy them, but his bolt pattern is 5x120, and ours is 114.3. But his offset is 40mm, which is what the caffeines are. Does anyone know if they'll fit? If they don't fit, then I'm gonna have to post the wheels for sale.

max...to the ma: What do you mean? I've never tried to do a top speed run and I don't plan to. Too dangerous for my blood. I've been driving like a grandma lately though becuase i'm pushing around 8psi on a stock clutch.

The wheels actually aren't THAT heavy for an 18x8.5" rim. They are 24lbs. each. I got em for $650 shipping w/free lugs from www.winstonarea51.com The reg. price now is $205 a wheel though.

You just answered your question right there. Offset is irrelevant. They will not fit.

I was serious about my last comment. That is the sicket 4th gen I have seen. Damn, I love those wheels.

hey craig your car is looking really sweet. got a question for you. You dual exhaust setup. On the drawing it says you removes you spare tire well, but on a picture that shows the actual set up it looks like its still there. Did you not have to crush the well like the one web site says. Or did you just pipe around the well.

Are you completely blind? Read my reply to his BS.

As for the non-haters, I really appriciate the positive feedback from you guys, especially from respective members such as Nealoc. I didn't expect you guys to like em as much as you do, since the design is a brand new thing from Enkei and different.

tbannon: The pic on my webpage was a thing I made asking people if I should convert to it, it's not what I actually have. Like the pics show, I have that thin flowmasters muffler sitting in the normal place with a pipe hooking to it, running around the tire well.

look forward to it, however, i think i need to invest in an ACT clutch now that my car gave me the utmost problems on the tracks surface, oddly though, ive never had any problems on the street. Debating, if i can pick an ACT up for a good price, then ill get one too...

look forward to it...

eric

PS, remember what i said about that flow...might turn up missing

and, sprint,
thanks for the support bro. there's not a whole lot left I can do it to. I was thinkin about eyelids but that deal never went through. I'm VERY excited about the new hood custommaxima's gonna come out with. I'm hopin the SS hood will win. If so, that will be my next cosmetic mod. It would be functinoal too. Hopefully will add more power to the blower then my ghetto rigged CAI.

lol...the first day I threw in the 6:1 disc coming from a 12:1 disc with a 3.33" pulley was heaven. SOoo much power. Now i'm hungry for more. Although when I get my ACT i'll be putting power down to the ground 10 times better so i'll feel the power more.

so the exhaust runs as it normally would from the y to muffler but then you just have a pipe from the muffler in the oem location running over to the other side correct?

nice tips; how big are they, whered you get em
