Why was my thread locked?

The locked thread

The very least you could have done was posted a quick explanation as to why you were locking it or who it was that was locking it so that I could have emailed you. Now I have no idea who did it or why.

I just posted because I was on this board a while back w/ my Maxima, I sold it, and hadn't checked in with everyone in a while. I figured I'd share the good news. But I guess if the new purchase didn't involve a Maxima then it deserves to be locked?

Congrats on the new car.
Alot of people post about new cars they just purchased but that thread was on the fast track of turning into a GS vs Maxima battle.
