Pics of the new Integra.
fugly. the interior is ok... but the center console looks too plain, like a civic. Nice gauges though.
The exterior looks like a bloated tercel or something.
I dunno... guess I just see too much honda in it.

What's with ACURA using that Dumb *** Grill for EVERY single ACURA Car?????
The 3.2 CL, the MDX SUV, 1.7EL, 3.2 TL Type S, all have the EXACT same "Face" ... what is up with that????
I'm really getting Sick of that look?
Anyone else agree? Or Noticed????

not really muhc different from the last if you look closely... I think the interior looks phat, but the exterior really needs some work. I did notice the same grille also, and I don't like it either. The lights are weird looking, and those are the UGLIEST rims, imo. There are many other options I'd look into before the Integra.

It looks just like a Paseo. Not saying that's a bad thing but it was a very cheap car and I don't see myself driving something like that. It's even more of a chic car now than it was (no offense ladies). I think the interior is ok, more like a civic with a dash kit and aftermarket guages though. And the seats are bad ***, but like they're coming with the production car.
Its only a prototype, I know people in certain manufacturing circles and can tell you that decisions are already made for 95% of the cars in production 2 years in advance. Most 2002-03 models are being tooled, parts being made for them right now. Someone at Honda, Nissan, etc (pic your mfgr), is building the cars you think aren't built yet.
In November of 1992 I was in Michigan picking up a GMC Surburban from the factory (I can get 30% off of retail), and toured the plant and saw parts and vehicles being produced for 1995 model Tahoes(never been seen in 1992), Cadillacs, and others.
The bigger picture here (with Honda)is that they are obviously in tune with the market (whether you like the color or not), and are seeking ideas to further entice buyers with the trends. Little things like seat color, exterior color, panels, are easily replaced, changed or redesigned.
Some of these features may end up as options, because most people buy this car for reliability or economy, not because they want to rule the streets. These may be options for the 30% of the market that customize their cars.

New Teg looks good. Very clean exterior styling...conservative, understated, yet stylish. Interior is typically Honda layout, efficient and sporty.
I'd be more interested to see what VTEC magic Honda works with for the new Teg's engine.

Love it
I had a 1989 Acura Integra GS, 5 speed...every fu*%ing option they had, i even got suckered into the "protector Packages" under car, top coat, seating" u know the one car salesman make a bundle off.. I was 19 and really happy with my new job and making lots of $$$... WOW... what memories The 10 or 20th one in the USA NOV 1998. Loved that car .. I put 49,000 miles on it in only 18 months. The service manager and i became good friends. If i only knew what would have become of them i would of held on to it...
I like the new one. But the CL 3.2 type S is HOT... If it came in 5 speed the Maxima purchase would have been scraped..
Peace

well, the front looks like a chopped down version of a CL coupe.
the rear looks like a chopped down version of a CRX(the tail lights) or the older gen Integra.
the sides look like the current integras but also looks like the new civics...which i might add...the coupes look like a Ford Focus!!!!! AHHHHHHH!!!!!
like the interior but i doubt productions models will have 'that' interior...including the seats!!....
it's only a prototype...which means alot(maybe some) of parts will change for the production model...
like the color...
why can't nissan make Maximas with that kinda blue? damn it!

It's actually not too bad. The interior is nice except for the stereo/climate control part. It's just...BIG. IMO, I like the overall look(interior/exterior)of the new Sentra SE-R/V-Spec much better.
Too much like the old, then not enough like itself
The profile of the car is hardly different from the current Generation of integs. What a disapointment. From the front, the damn thing looks like a fucus was humping a celica, and out popped the design for the new teg. Pathetic. I'm not saying that I love the current style, not too different from the last gen of celica that Toyota put out, but it fit the car. I still think that the early 90's gen was the best looking and most intimidating model! I hope they make a some more changes, after all, did anybody see the concept design for the current Eclipse? It kicked ***!!! Such a shame that it was toned down. I hope the Teg does just the opposite. It's known to be such a killer 1.8, with the tightest shifting and turning of any in it's class. Why not design it as such? It's truely step back in the design. It's only saving grace will be it's new performance and engine capabilities.
