Okay, not now (still got a year left on my lease) but I'm buying one, dammit.
They're too cool. Then it's Dinan supercharger time.

actually, if you go Dinan or other reputable BMW tuners like Hamann, ACS, Hartage, then yes they cost alot more than Nissan.
But if you go generic, then it's about the same. For example you can get a ECIS CAI for 200, a SystemU exhaust for $500. So that's about the Nissan mods price.

Btw, seth, if you don't care for warranty, go with the Mechtech turbo instead of Dinan SC, some guy dynoed 360RWHP with it.

Actually I have Jim Conforti parts.
Not that I think they are good or anything, but their software called shark injector is very cool, you can upload/download in 5 mintues by yourself, not like Dinan's you have to go to their dealer, so I got that instead of Dinan, also their intake too.
Kinda regret it though, cuz it's as expensive as Dinan, $850 for software + intake, and Dinan CAI looks way better with carbon fiber tubing and all that.
Oh well...

good point ... but still surprising considering the ferrari lost to the nsx ... but if you look at the vid its like the guy is just learning how to drive a stick in the ferrari.

you mean the drag racing video between F355 vs. NSX?
that was a type zero, it does high 12's stock, that's in fact faster than a F355. it will beat a euro M easily too.

p.s. the m vs nsx video, is on a road racing course, it just so happened to show a section that the M was passing the nsx i think.

Only...geeeezzz///315 in that little car will rip the back tires off...it should then be around what the m in the video was performing like against the nsx.

M Coupe

For less money than the M Roadster you can buy an M Coupe that handles much better and will earn you the instant respect of BMW enthusiasts everywhere.

Of course, most people (including I) think they look fugly as hell, but that's just another reason why the driving enthusiast will think you are one of them...

yeah the M roadster will be again detuned to 315 vs 333.
the reason is that too much hp for a short wheelbased roadster.

You mean the M Shoe? ahaha my friend works for a bmw dealership with the sorry *** job of having to deliver, pickup and sometimes just take bmws around the block all day. He said the M Shoe ( m coupe ) is very controllable when downsshifting into second and letting the rear tires get loose in between cars on the road :O Seriously though, those things handle VERY VERY well.
