I had some fun pacing (or trying to) my friends mom's 96 25th aniv. corvette. What sux racing a $40,000 SPORTS CAR is how he can out corner/handle/brake/accelerate our family sedan. Anyway, I was behind him (this vette has some minor mods, exhaust, intake, computer) he pulled away, and he pulled away very very quickly. That car pulls 13 flats in the 1/4 mile. Needless to say, when he was at 155 MPH, all I saw was his tail lights getting smaller, and I looked down at 135 taching about 5,500 RPM or so and the maxima not getting any faster. Grr.. I'm not used to being dusted like this. Sux a nut. And this was right after I put my Y pipe on. I know its gonna be very very hard to get a FWD family sedan into the low 13s, let alone the 12s. Grr, well first step is obviously a supercharger. Then hopefully my car will be more worthy. Maybe i shoulda got that Z28 back in mid June when I had 18K or so to blow....
