thats a sweet mousepad but i have a mouse that uses the red light. now technically i could use the pad as a mod for show, but wouldnt that be rice?

It's still a good idea to use a mouse pad with optical mice. At the very least it makes it glide more smoothly and easily.

it actually creates friction and its harder to move the mouse. IMO, i like it better without a mousepad.
