the maxima.org should really screen the idiots who sign up.

To let everyone know,Its been a great journey being on the org for the past 3 years for me, coming out from stock to this! my first mod was buying the stillen kit, and learned on the org that the best thing for HP was CAttman y pipe. Just wanted to share that being on the org was a great experience and met some great people.

But let me ask you this.. what have you done with your ride (aside from the cigarette lighter)?

Ya I know but no need to offend the Skyline with the wannabe maxima.

Looks good, but like some others have said, you should have painted the engine bay too. It just look out of place if you open up the hood.

..

Why can't he state his opinion?

I don't see how his post provoked this kind of response..
This is an open forum.. you may, or may not like what others do to their cars.. do you think everyone MUST like someone elses car because of the time and money they put into it?

I know we have all seen plenty of cars with a ****load of money invested but you still don't like them.

If you are posting the car in the open forum like this,
you should be able to take all constructive feedback, regardless of whether it's positive or not.

That was uncalled for
the guy didn't diss him or his car.. i think he stated his opinion in a fairly respective way.

EDIT:
With that said,
I thought i checked this thread out earlier, i thought i replied already.

I like it
looks great.. and props for doing something different and going through with all the work this involved.

got to love the org.. so many opinions~ does anyone wanna help pitch in for some clear corners and $$ to paint the engine bay?? hehe.. jp hope you enjoy the skyline conversion, i dont think there are too many maxima owners who have conversions like mine, fender flairs, and molded one piece.

I'm well aware of how to do it...I'm sorry but you take that to any real car guy he's just gonna walk away, it's very incomplete...would you even buy a car off the lot that had it that different? And yes overspray is bad...it's clear he spent some dough, i take nothing away from that, but it's a half job.

I wouldnt buy ANY car with ANY signs of mods... unless I
personally know the owner and how he drives/takes care of his car

would I paint my engine bay if I repainted my car? yes, but thats because I'm pretty **** about perfect jobs, but it is alot of extra money and sometimes people dont have it, and well he can do it at a later date if it bothers him

I dont think it detracts from his accomplishment, look closely at nearly EVERY show car and you see mistakes and half assed work, and for 99% of the people out there it makes no difference

real car guy???????? wtf is that suppose to mean.
i concider my self a real car guy. i didn't just walk away.. im pretty sure all the guys at the meet that got to see the car in person were real car guys they didn't just walk away.

Let me put it this way...Forget teh ricer shows...Think of the hot rod shows, those guys that spend over 150gs in making the car rite. You ever see half jobs there? No. You see a car come like that? no.

I'm not talking about buying a moded car froma dealer. Say the car came like that. Would buy a car that was half painted and oversparaed, and questions on quality? I hope not.

hmmm I checked your homepage...

I've seen better stereo setups... so yours is half assed to me why the hell do you put a system in there if its half assed?

hmmm spent more on audio than nizmo's car? does that make you specials? the wheels I have in my garage are worth more than your damn car... what does that say? it dont mean ****... so just be quiet, quit hating and appreciate, if you dont like it, theres a difference between saying tasteful comments and keeping it civil and letting off a barrage of verbal crap...
