Damn I was completely unaware of Mardisgras breaking into the 11's. What was his mod list at the time, I know he was working with the Stillen/Vortech SC, but I can't imagine he made those runs without going to another system.

 

V1 SC with 2.6" pulley, 370 cc/min injectors, MEVI, 3" exhaust. And a 35 shot of nitrous, I believe. G-force ecu, too, I think.

 

BTW I just brought this back bc I believe that record will fall this weekend.

Let alone now that he's probably installed his new VQ35 block.

I think he'll be low 11s easy, but could he break 10s with 20+psi?

 

Im not sure if he got the 3.5 shortblock in yet or not, h3ll he'll probably be low 11's all boost with the 3.5 shortblock, that is if the slicks will hold the torque the beast will be putting down. I think he could have ran a 11.6 with his SC setup if he launched it as hard as he does now.

 

He launched at 5k on the 11.91 run......, do you want him to rev it till fuel cut?

 

I just reread what he told me, he's still got the VQ30 block for some all out "last ditch runs". Then he goes back to NA for emissioins, and then he's putting the built VQ35 in around April.

 

but he has been launching at 6k the past few trips to the track pulling low 1.7's vs mid 1.8's...

 

Have seen Mardi post in a while, any thread links about him going to the track this weekend? Last I remeber he had a bad dyno and was trying to find his power loss.

Can't wait to see the results from this comming weekend!

 

He told me "opening day at MIR track is March 6th", but that didn't mean he's going this Sunday.

He redid his reverse ypipe(was selling old) and fixed his wastegate flutter issue by putting a better/stiffer spring and playing with the EBC.

last I checked he was planning on going this Sunday if all goes well. He also switched back to the .81 ar if im not mistaken.

Their calling for snow this Saturday, and sunday mig be a waste, but I will try.
Still on the stock 3.0L as blu said, emissions testing etc.
I have Alk/WI hooked up now. Ant the juice is plumbed but has not been tested.

he's gone as low as 12.2 on just the turbo at the end of the season last year (NOV.)
