check engine light. ?? Just Installed my INtake

i had the negative plugged out
i just finished im supposed to leavce it for 6 hours both terminals discconnnected. atleast thats what i was told.
is this why the chek engine lite is on ?
i have plugged all the sensors in, and i have double checked.

May help to tell us what type of intake. just an idea-the O2 sensor has no home in the JWT intake unless you drill a hole for it. Not sure if a dangling sensor would cause the Check engine light ot come on...but maybe... May need to check the computer codes. There is info if you search for how to check computer codes.

the dangling sensor did not trip my check engine light. I had mine dangling in the beginning, but have mounted it in the end of the filter now.

not an o-2 sensor

It is a temp sensor. It would not throw a code unless it was damaged in the install.
