Besides this pic being super funny, I guess people who live nearby you should watch out for this a**wipe. In any event, I learned something from you and that is to keep and come out a winner. I, for sure, would have lost my mind and got Brooklyn on his a*s!

Man, I would have beat him like a red-headed step child!

I think it would be better defined as pedestrian-rage than roadrage. It is really strange though.

One thing i love about this story is.. it shows the good that our Police Officers do, no one ever gives them credit. People are always posting the negative things police officers do around here, no one ever post good things they do. I know the officers on this board must hate when the bad apples give a bad view of ALL officers.. but i really like this story for that fact

Yeap plus the moral of it is not to take the law in your own hands. Seems a few dont seem to get that message. But oh well.

thats what they get paid to do. There are a few cops around that heads are so swelled they can do no wrong...but for the most part they are out too protect. You just have the idiots that get pissed for speeding 20mph over or running a stop sign and wondering why they get ticketed

it takes alot of patience, maturity and discipline to do what you did, alot of people when acting on emotions can't do that. Thats why most of the people here would knock the guy out, also what many don't understand is being in your situation, if you had hit him it would have been a no win situation, you would have gone to jail and would have to pay for your car yourself.

i was in DC last weekend, driving around with my uncle, dad and brother, my uncle bumped the car infront of us, not even going 1 mph.

we pull over she wants his insurance info.. she is freaking out.. no scratches on his car or hers.. she then runs and calls the police.. of course i grab the camera tell my dad to take pictures...

long story short, she didn't even have her license, anyway.. the cops gave them forms to fill out and exchange.. the cops were real nice about it too.. bottom line.. why did she have to call the cops? 4 black guys in a minivan? things that make you go hmmmmmm

yeah her boy friend.. he was a funny dude.. so my dad goes, why do you need all this information.. he goes "incase someone gets whiplash next week or something" you don't get whiplash next week.. you get it on the spot. don't ask why she was driving with no license, her address is in Virginia and her car is registered in Utah if i was the Officer.. i would have arrested her

You can get whiplash the next day, or two days later, but not next week. However, it doesn't always set in the instant you get hit.

That being said, I would also highly recommend carrying a disposable camera in your car for cases like this. People are always trying to scheme things, and you gotta protect your behind. So take pics if you get into an accident, and try to get police on the scene so they can write up a report as well.

Where was this?

So this morning coming to work and I have to go up this one street where it has these 5 speed bumps to force you to drive slow. I cant go over them any faster than 10-15mph because of the 19s and springs. So I just came off the 3rd one and didnt floor the car but gave it enough gas where it down shifted into 1st and then you could hear the turbo spool up and a gush of air type noise.

So this pedestrian who is walking on the other side of the road freaks out, turns around while im going 15mph and pulls out something and hits my car with it. He hit my drivers side rear door. I come to a screaching halt as he goes and picks up what he threw and starts taking off, i look at the damage and im like "oh hell no you aint going no where", so before i started running, i tell myself calm down, call the cops. So I call 911. And basically explain what happened and they cops amazingly got there in 30seconds, I explain to them who it was what he looked like and where he walked to. So the cops go look for him and come back 5mins later took 2 polaroids and show me, im like "yea that the pr!ck who did it" So I follow the cop and we go to meet this guy. And he said he threw his keys are my car to get me to slow down. I was only going 15 and he does that? So the cop tells him he is going to have to pay restitution otherwise he will have a felony charge/warrant against him.

What a day? This **** had definetely some issue. MAJOR issues.

Here are the pics.

And here is the PR!CK who did it!

wow..

That's a crazy story!!!!!! Someone did the same to me, less throwing the keys, for doing 30 in a 25... I thought something was wrong with the lady so I slowed down and I pulled to her. She was like "Slow Down" I was like WTF and drove away...

Funny thing is I bought the house across the street from her a year later. (she's moved though)

BS

Ya'll were high! LOL!!

Seriously though, I've been hit and the car only left the marks from the license plate holder screws on my bumper, and my neck and back hurt for a few days.. Whiplash isn't fun especially when you sit at a desk all day but you get over it in a few days..

one time, I was crossing a street in a shopping mall to the parking lot. This guy in his old Mercedes saw us crossing the street. He floored the pedal, ran over a speed bump, and coming straight towards us. After we dodged him and he hit my friend's bag, then he got out of the car with a baseball bat and said that we hit his car on purpose.

same type of people.
Some guy came at me with a bat in that situation, I'd tell him, HIT ME!!! Then I'll be driving YOUR Mercades, living in YOUR house, swimming in YOUR pool, cause I'm gonna sue your **** for everything!!!!

afterlooking

after looking at that pic, this guy prolly had keys thrown at him all the time. you know by big bully types, and by some mean girls... so when he heard the pure awesomeness of your maxima .. something triggered, something made him unconciously re-inact... his abusive experiences ... whether keys or any type of foreign object ..he freaked and lost it .. in conclusion: its the price you have to pay, for COOL .. you just cannot count on everyone to contain themselves around a Maxima ...

After reading this thread I can't stop laughing! Everytime he sees a Max, he's gonna have this burning feeling to reach into his pocket and throw everything he's got in there, but maybe he'll think twice now

Can we say..
