No response in Audio section, so here you go...

I saw a couple of people post audio stuff here after getting no response, so I thought I would give it a try. My new HU sounds like crap (so did the old one) and I cannot get any of the main stations here in LA, my antenna does not go up and I am not going to fix the ugly thing, so my questions is, are there any antenna options besides stock?, or other than mounting the old school celular phone style? Is there something that will mount hidden and get awesome reception? I want to shave off my stock antenna, cause it doesnt work worth a damn, and looks ugly. I would like something like a XM antenna, that is really hidden, but would look to go for excellent reception.

You should get one of those big 10 foot ones that have a big magnet to hold it on your trunk. You will get every station for hundreds of miles.

Donald I bought a acura mdx antenna for $30 shipped, it has a built in signal amp, I was going to mount it on the roof but untill I make up my mind it is working fine in the trunk.

I bought it from locustom.com

the reception is pretty good and I didnt even give it power yet, and since the plug for the antenna is already in the trunk its real easy to connect.
