This is the Iraqi Police. The iraqi police uses maximas... Funky. Anyone know of other police departments that use the maxima?

 

Well put that in that original post them if it was the Iraqi police. And how does this effect any one of us if they were using maximas or accords or what not. How is this valuable information. Should we make this a sticky?

Well, maybe we can find out what mods the Iraqi police have on their Maximas. We might be able to use some of their modding ideas! I bet they have the MEVI standard.

Seriously though, my parents went to Dubai a couple years ago. The Maxima over there is more like the Cefiro in Japan, which made it more like a 2nd gen I30.

I've never seen a Maxima police cruiser, but in DC (Georgetown) last weekend I saw a Maxima taxi! 4th-gen with a two-tone paint job (blue bottom, white top: yuck), obviously one of those independent cabs, not a yellow cab-company car. And the best part is it was driven by a big Arab guy sporting a long white beard and a turban!

In my 22 hr a day continuous war coverage, I have seen the police cars and noticed them and have been looking for a completely convincing picture. But I've seen it a couple more times and would have to say it is for sure a mid-east max ....think they have MEVI in those 5th gen??? they might have actually challenged our forces if they had mounted weapons on their maxs instead of suvs, but lets be happy they didn't
