Damn, that was badass! If only all Maximas were capable of something like that! It was funny as hell to hear the announcer talking about the Maxima like it had no chance. I would love to hear what he said after the race... or didn't say!

I always thought Matt's car was white for some reason. I could tell the fronts were Koseis though, even though they were spinning. Matt handed it to that guy.

To me it didn't sound like the announcer was h8ting on the maxima. Unless he was being sarcastic. But I couldn't tell.

**** like that makes me proud to say he helped me tune my SC. I wish my car was as fast. He really showed the Camaro up. I know the announcer was surprised. Maybe that was one of his 11.8-12.1 runs he was telling me about. That vid is cool! Definetely worth saving.

That is awesome. That camaro did a NHRA burnout and you could tell everyone thought it was going to be easy. Then the Max ripped him and made him feel stupid...too bad it didnt post his times, but atleast it gives you an idea.

agreed, all the advantages went tot he camaro and it still got walked. I'm saving this video to play at my job, my camaro friend is gonna cry his a$$ off

Yes this is awsome and what not, however fully modded maxima...to a bolt-on Ls1. Give the Ls1 and SC and see what happens...No flaming im just saying dont make too much war with the f-body forums hehe.

I think Matt posted the timeslip for this run, and even after the burnout, the camaro only got a 2.2x 60 ft time which is horrible. If it had gotten its normal time of probably 1.6x 60ft, he would have ripped Matt a new one. I do know a little bit about ls1's, since my friend has one. The camaro sounded like an automatic too, which means for him to trap 115mph he was either spraying, or had full bolt-ons plus a cam or heads or both as well as a converter to take advantage of the tires. The six speed cars can trap that high with just a few bolt-ons, but not an auto.

What a great race !!! , finally i was able to show my friend(91mustang,351 swap,SC mad mods) that maxima can move.....
he said though - it had to be roll on start for the maxima.
I dont think so....

i think he is SC plus MEVI plus N02.....
