GLE Padding in the hood?

GLE Padding in the hood?
I noticed some padding under the hood, and some in the area infront of the steering wheel.
Do all maxima's have the padding in them or is it only GLE's?
What else is done in GLE's to make the quieter, they are heavier than GXE's and SE's, right?

padding under the hood is just insulation.
when it comes to killing road noise... u'd have to use dampner padding on the firewall, doors, wheel wells, roof, floor, and trunk. Only then will u notice a big difference like in luxory vehicles.
