Camber kit question....

Hey guys,

I currently have AGX/Progress, my alignment is off and before I go to the shop, I just wanted to know that if I need a camber kit for this setup?

Thanks...

You shouldn't, but that depends on how it was installed. If the installer pulled max positive camber from the play in the lower strut mounting holes, you should be ok.

If it was pulled the other way, your camber may be a bit to far into the negative area.

Worst case, you might want to get camber bolts which are much cheaper than a kit.

I just installed Spints, the allignment shop that I went to said I didn't need the chamber kit, and they do not warrant their work with the one installed b/c after high impact (large pothole), the allignment would be thrown off if the kit is used. Otherwise, their warranty is 1 year.

When I had ground controls, they installed the camber bolts but after installing progess I haven't gotten alignment yet and I will be going from 16inch wheels to 17. So then I guess I'll have to wait till the guy tells me at the shop then....
