Stillen front lip question

I just got my lip painted and install.
The side fits perfectly but the front stick out, it doesn't fit flush with the bumper. I try to screw it in from the inside of the lip but it didn't help.I also try the 3m tape that is included in the installation maunel. That didn't do much either..

any suggestion would be great

thats the main reason why you must test fit it before painting it so you can get it sanded and holes drilled out so theres no problems when its painted. I suggest carefully take it off and see where the lip hits the bumper and try to sand under the lip where it meets the bumper to get it to sit flush.

why sand under the lip? the only part that is kind of sticking out is the front. the bottom fits perfectly?

You'll almost never get a perfect fit if you don't have it molded onto your body. There wil always be a lil tiny gap if anything.
