Do it yourself Navigation
Yesterday's TV screen thread got me thinking. What all would I need to make a navigation system that looks stock. I don't want to remove the stock stereo or get a Garmin.
Here is what I have so far:
1)Screen
2)Associated wires
3)DVD player?
4)GPS antennae?
How can I do this cheap, but put it together myself?

not everyone lacks the time and effortso do you have the GPS antenna? I suggest you check out:
http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/index.php
they have a forum dedicated to GPS.
I'm looking at a 4 inch screen right now that will fit perfectly in place of the change holder. I have seen GPS antennae on sites as well. I'm just trying to figure out how to tie them all together. Perhaps an in car pc?
