Polished lip on rims?

Hey guys whats the best way to shine up that polished lip again. After this rough winter I would like to restore that new look. What are the first Steps. I tried mag cleaner and no luck. I tried to buff it out again with a buffing machine with no luck. I'm probably doing it wrong. All the help would be great.

I use Mothers Aluminium polish.... but the polished lip goes through hell in bad weather and winter... if it doesnt work you might have to repolish it

How do you go about repolishing the lip? What tools do I need or do I have to find someone who does this?

basically you wet sand it and move up to finer and finer grit sand paper... and then you polish it its a long and tedious process... do a search on google or something... a few people have posted it on here but search doesnt work anymore

and yea first try a dremel it works wonders too
