maybe the 10.6 was his 1/8th time and he's a bad driver?

Hey Jeff,

we should go over and investigate this one, since he's about 10 minutes away...Funny, never seen it around??

Anybody else catch that he advertises it as a 96, but that's not a 96 front end. Did he do a conversion? If so, why didn't he say so? Too many questions about this car.

That is a pretty weak documentation of what could potentially be record of the fastest 1/4 mile times for a Maxima!

I was right, that is the car from Lynchburg(prior owner). There is no way a maxima will trap at 127, Mardi traps 117 spraying, SC(14psi) and slicks. 1.5 60'

since he seems to be replying to me, I sent this... we'll see what he says:

I see I only have 6 days... can you answer some questions for me?

what tires did you have when you ran the 10.6? Were they street legal?

how'd you get a 1.536 60' on a front wheel drive car?

can I meet you somewhere for a test drive? The car is seriously underpriced right now and I'm really interested.

If he replies, ask what size SC pully is on there.

will do, but I get the feeling if he replies it will be with an excuse of why it's no longer a 10.6 second maxima and how it used to be and could be again with a little work.

but like I said, I doubt he'll reply.

Me too. This is some funny crap!

This guy is obviously just trying to sell the car by saying it ran a 10.6 @ 127. All the kids out there that don't know squat about Maxima's and there engines will most likely believe him and won't ask for a timeslip(What's a timeslip?)lol. Then they will buy it and think they have a 10second car just like in 'The Fast and the Furious'.

Poor guy. oh well I wish him luck in selling the car.

According to the Cardomain site, he is running a 1.87 pulley with nitrous and putting out 368 HP.

1.87 pulley? Seems a tad small.
It also says he paid 6,000 for the SC

Nice setup but I don't think 10.6 sec.
Probably picked up the timeslip from a supercharged Stang owner that dropped it out of his pocket.

so he increase the SC pulley size for more power

for spinnig the SC faster, you want a crank pulley with a longer diameter and SC pulley with a shorter one.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure that Don Cooper was running 1.7 60' times at best with drag slicks at the track?

also like this fact...

"Vehicle Condition

Vehicle runs great no problems. Starts right up. New Shell synthetic just done with Bosch platnium sparks. A great car!"

platnium plugs w/ nitrous? another no no...
