That should scare you away.

Definately don't cheap out on the only part of your car that makes contact with the pavement.

Which model Wanli?

everyone will have difference opinions on everything.
I say, if you don't fear of the "made in china" title ( since a lot of people associate Made in china = Cheap/ unreliable quality), then go for it..
I have had friends who bought Wanli tires and have not had any issues..

If I recall, wanli tires are H-rated...

Wow, old thread.
I had started this thread back in the day because I was buying a tire/wheel combo and it came with these. They ended up being total crap. Cheap yokohama replicas. Mine began spliting on the outer sidewalls and developed bubbles.
Replaced them with BFG KDW2s and loved this setup. Im getting ready to purcahse another set.
As far as I know, the S-1088 is the only model availb le for passenger cars. There other models are for trucks

I have a set on my car now but would not buy more, mine are spliting on the side wall. If you are looking for something in the same price range try Nexen..

Invalid argument. People go on ebay to find products for cheap price. Want to pay retail, goto a retail store. Want a great deal? Try ebay.

maan are you serious?? These tires came on my car used and they lasted a long a$$ time, I'd done crazy burnouts to maxing out top speed. the downside is the tire noise when taking a turn fast, but thats almost any tire. they're the best cheap tires over anything to me. it wasnt like i was going to take them off cuz they were new you know. But I've never had a problem. I'd take them again, as of right now Im riding 4 diff tires times are hard. but tax return will take care of that =) might be rockin the Wanli's again.

I disagree and maybe I should have been clearer. I'm not talking about getting a deal on stuff. I'm talking about things that are too cheap to be true.

If it's on ebay and it's a fraction (like a 1/4) of what they sell retail then they are likely cheap knock-offs. It's looks like from the previous posts I was right.

And when it comes to tires (and brakes), cheaping out is not a good idea.
