Will 4th Gen Maxspeeds fit 5th Gen

My friend with a 99 I30 has a set of maxspeeds that I'm debating about installing...Will they fit on my 5th Gen?

I have currently spent all my money on my numerous audio upgrades, so I do not currently have money for springs, however, I was just wondering if these would fit...

I think they'll fit the rears only.. Since 4thgen struts/shocks fit the rear?

the fronts will definitely fit, but the rears dont look like they would fit too good.. the bottom of 5th gen rear springs are narrower than 4th gen springs.. i just put a 4th gen spring on one of my stock 5th gen rear struts and it was a little bit wide for the base of the strut where the bottom of the spring sits. the spring rests on the bottom of the struts in 2 corners and the rest of the spring would hang over.

so 4th and 5th gen front springs are interchangeable, 4th and 5th gen rear struts are interchangeable, but it doesnt look like 4th gen rear springs will sit right on 5th gen struts.. i currently have my 5th gen eibach rears on my agx's and since the bottom coil is tighter, it sits a little bit high on the strut but the whole coil rests on the bottom so its safe.. i have 4th gen agx's up front modified to fit and 4th gen front eibachs cut one coil.. if anyone is confused i will explain it better

btw theres a group deal for $92 shipped for maxspeeds so it doesnt make sense to buy used ones

They will fit on AGXs, in fact, you should use 4g springs on them so knowing that you would know that at least one half fits, but I've heard that the other end will not sit on the perch well and will squeak and eventually break down. Maxspeeds are cheap so grab up a pair I'd say

Everyone except 2k2wannabe, thanks for the help. Is it horrible to have stock springs in the back, and maxspeeds in the front. Right now I need my front lowered, the rear sits pretty low with all the audio stuff in the trunk and the natural lean to the rear already...

2k2wannabe-I'm using all my kind feelings for the day on not flaming you...gusfraba

So you have the maxspeeds in the front now and OEM in the rears?

Well you have til the 4th to not be a 4X4.
I say just suck it up and do the damn thing, dont sit there think about it 4ever. Get some sprits or something (or is that gonna add more to the mini-me thing?) Get some teins then if thats the case. Or like posted just above jump on the maxspeed GD. If you want the ride to be slammed then get either sprints or teins, the maxspeeds might have to have a spring cut off to eliminate wheelgap (like GoldMember...) You choice dude, I dont know what all the confusions about.
