Ever since I saw the 4th gen maxima, I have always liked it. Today, I finally got one. It is a sterling mist 98 GXE with 125000 km (77000 miles) which is in immaculate shape. Here are some pics:

I am going to get the grille/handles painted sterling mist, and get rear/front clears right away. I plan to start working on performance later in the summer (just mildly until i finish paying off for the car), and hopefully it will be dropped with KYB AGX's and Sprints by the end of the summer.

Have about $1000-1500 saved up incase your transmission starts eating its bearings. You're right around the right mileage for that to possibily happen. oh wait, you bought it from a dealer, so that means you should have some kinda warranty. But definately check where the CV shafts go into the tranny for play and leaks.

Thanks for the info, I will look for these things. I didn't buy the car from a dealership (those pics with the waterloo nissan signs are from when the previous owner still had his plates on there). Anyhow, the car still has extended warrenty until december 2004 which we got transferred.
