Hyper Grounding Wires?

sorry if this topic has been discussed already, but i was reading about these hyper grounding wires in the latest import tuner. they're 100$ and they added 1 peak hp and 10 peak lb/ft of torque to a wrx in the power pages. sounds like a gimmick but i heard they really do work. can anyone explain the theory behind how these things work? something to do with the car's electrical system i'm guessing...

Sport compact car magazines or Imoprt tuners WRX got 5hp from it. They say to keep it away from the alternator and things like that. I'm gonna put 2 wires on each valve cover for my max

it can't hurt, prolly best to do yourself if you have the know-how, since I don't believe it was worth it for the Hypergrounds... at least for me... plus, only one person for the Maxima that I recall has ever dynoed before and after with the hypergrounds...

If there's a person with a 2k2-2k3, they should put one wire on the throttle body so you get better response.

Like what???

Import tuner says to find good grounding points away from electrical points like the altinator. They said they lost power when they grouned near the distributor. They got better power when they grounded to the valve covers away from the distributor.
