I'm curious as to what kind of unique mods you guys have done. Things I'm talking about are like dashes, stereo systems, interior, engine dress-ups, lighting systems, etc. I'm not talking about the basics like clear corners or anything. Let's see them!

 

How did that happen. It looks just like the the '99GXE I totaled about two years ago before I had my licence.

Well on my car, the 300zx brakes are kind of custom. The dash kit is custom, metal floor mats are custom, and the rear wing had to be custom mounted. It wasn't made for my car and had to have the mounting points shaved to fit. Right now I'm researching getting a custom body kit.

How about a RWD Maxima, with independent all the way around, and a 3.0 V6 220HP N/A from the 300ZX (exactly the same, not just similar like the horizontally opposed VQ. Then a twin turbo setup for a modest 350hp!


How? An Infiniti j30 95, (7 grand) with a 97 Maxima Front and rear finders and bumper clips, trunk and hood. 97 Maxima SE dash, with white gauges, and driver and passanger recardo sport bucket seats. Will show yea when all done

 

how about BMW headlights on a 3rd generation maxima? is that custom, lol!

Yeah, doug is my spokesman. hehe. Anyway, yeah , I have a computer mounted in the trunk and just this past week I mounted a tv in the dash... I'll post up pics of the dash with the TV tommorow morning before class. =)

I have custom dual exhaust, first one I've every seen, had it done back in 96 when I bought the car. Custom paint, White with Blue Purple Pearl, custom installed sound system. CVA-1005, EGR320A eq nicely tucked behind the factory pocket. 2 PPI Chrome amps mounted upside down that invert and flip out when I open the trunk. Sony playstation mounted in the back of the passenger seat, Catz Zeta system customised to work with an 9004 setup. Custom interior, custom made short shifter, led's in the tail lamps, side markers and installed in the corner markers running off the Viper 800 ESP alarm with window controlls. The list goes on and on. I have pictures but not on a website to post on the board. If you want to see them I can email them to you.

As for costum Ideas,right now I have Sylvania 9006 true HID's mounted in my fog lights,and in a week or two I am getting Cefero 1 piece headlights and will be installing another pair of true HID's in them.Also I am looking into getting the Stillen Infiniti Indy head rest which are costom improdered with the Stillen logo followed up with Infiniti Indy.Another thing that will be done soon is a custom bodykit.

 

well i have custom detailed my engine bay up alot!! My signature pic can show that. I have the clear/red tails thanks to David Lau. Custom moounted swtiched for stock fogs, neons and sub. Mounted both amps up on the back seats and custom mounted x2 capasitors on the side pocket of the trunk. All my emblams are gone and all chrome exterior pieces are now black(key holes/antena)and all I30 interior mods (pop out tray,chrome handles,door sills)and custom made leather 2 tone steering wheel cover (silver/black) Aluminum dash kit, matrix e-brake handle, Levoc LV451 auto shift w O/D. "maxima" emblam mount on dash. Body kit is coming finally!!!! WOOHOO....

Can't wait until I get my 240SX. then you'll see some custom mods, like CNC machined billet aluminum parts, some completely custom exhaust, and maybe some homemade CNC machined shift *****.

 

YO Guy ... I just noticed ... does the Back of your MAX say: "MA MA"?????? ROTFL

 

Here is a diffderent one. This is a k-40 laser diffuser. I custom mounted it from behind the bumper. It comes in the form of a licence plate bracket, but i did not like that look. Inside there is a small LED mounted in the cluster between the spedo, and tach. Also a hidded 1/2 inch speaker mounted in the lower steering colum cover. It alerts me when I am hit by laser so I can slow down in time. It is 100% legal, stealth, and works perfectly. The company will also pay the ticket within a year of purchase. I have been hit three times and all three time i have not had a problem. Hope you like it.
