Feedback on potential products

Just realized, not limited to 4th gens...

I have two new products that I would like some feedback on.
I am trying to decide if these are something I should invest in or
just set up a group buy.

http://home.earthlink.net/~paradoxsy...es/mirror1.jpg
http://home.earthlink.net/~paradoxsy...es/mirror2.jpg
http://home.earthlink.net/~paradoxsy...ages/sunup.jpg
http://home.earthlink.net/~paradoxsy...es/sundown.jpg
http://home.earthlink.net/~paradoxsy.../sunswitch.jpg

The first two are of a broadway mirror w/ LCD TV built in. measures
13" x 2 3/4 ". snaps on just like any other broadway mirror and you
run one cable across the headboard and down the pillar. There are
two inputs, one for DVD and the other for a reverse camera. Pricing
to be determined but looks to be in the $200 range.

The second is of a sun visor that goes across the back, you need to
screw it in so that it does not wobble. If my pics look off right
now it is because I have not screwed it in. It comes pre-wired onto
a cigarette lighter w/ the switch shown in the last picture. No
pricing info on these yet.

This is the link to a video that will show it in motion.

I appreciate all feedback..

Thank you!

Well, here's MY opinion (for what it's worth):

I like the Broadway mirror. Just wondering, are the inputs switchable? Meaning, can you run a DVD/VCR through one and reverse camera thru another and switch between the two, or is it one or the other?

As for the sun visor, that's a pretty good idea if you've got kids that you SHOULD be strapping up to the back seat area, but otherwise, it seems to be a bit

But that's just MY opinion....

I'll take a mirror as long as it will directly fit over my mirrors. I have the '01 witht he anti-glare. I heard that these mirrors are bigger then the stock mirrors so broadway mirrors don't fit right on them? Can you verify this?

Are you saying stock 01 mirrors are bigger than my stock one? If so, measure the height of the mirror and I'll see if my mirror will stretch to fit over it.

The input for the camera has a power input from the reverse light, when you are in reverse, it automatically switches to the reverse camera input.

I mean on the 01's or '02's that have the anti-glare mirror. Those mirrors are a little fatter. I was talking to john and he mentioned the broadway mirror would not fit over them. If anything I could always swing by your place this weekend and we can test fit it to make sure

i'm not too fond of the sun visor...it just seems a bit too much and pointless for me since i don't have children. the mirror is interesting...does it have the anti-glare feature as well? if it did then i think it would be great and i would be very interested.

Is anti-glare the feature that makes it fade by itself? If so, then no, it does not have it.

Pricing on the sun shades will be in the $100 range, probably less.

i actually dig the sun shade idea. i was looking for something like that or make my own because since i have leather seats it really makes them unsitable for awhile. this will help cool them down. and especially since it is automatic=more convience. hopefully the switch can be mounted upfront. mirror is fantastic i saw one on tv and thought what a luxury, now that there is one for the max, i need one. just got to save money.

Alright, both items are now available through a group buy requiring only 5 people.

Check out the posts in the group deals forum.
The sooner people sign up, the sooner it gets to your doorstep.

Thank you.

I have seen the mirrors before on my friend SUV, these mirrors are long/wide. My question is...
Is there enough clearance between the two sun visors to fold down and the mirrors?
On the 4th gen there is NOT much clearance between the mirrors and sun visors (folded down). IF you clear this up I would be interested in the mirrors if they fit.
