Wheel Question....

I recently put aftermarket rims/tires on. And eversince if i go over 50mph my max would vibrate like crazy. i took it to tire shop and got it balanced 3 times and still nothing. finally they told me to get centric hub rings for them. so i got this number for warehouse and called. they told me to measure the wheel bore. does anyone know what that is? is it true? i should get that centric hubrings? or should i just take it to different tire shop. I got lifetime warrenty on balancing from the first place. this thing is pretty annoying.... please help.

thanks,
Tae

Yes I would definitely recommend getting the hub centric rims.. I have SSR Integral 17" and after I put in the hubcentric's the vibrating I got while driving fast went away. You need to measure the diameter of the basically the cap like hub on your rotor. Take off your wheels and you'll see what I'm talking about.

I have a 2K2 and the bore is 66.10mm yours should be the same.
And yes the rings does help, but try to get metal ones because plastic starts to eat away.

Good Luck

Try to call DiscountTireDirect. I needed some...and they sent them for free...probably because...I've bought 4 sets of tires/rims from them... but the guy on the phone told me that they were only like 3.75 each anyway.
