3" Mufflers.....

Ok guys, for some obvious reasons, I need a 3" Inlet Muffler. Now, I know that many people here do not run 3" inlet mufflers, but I need a list of some GREAT mufflers. I DISLIKE the loud bees-in-a-can mufflers and I do not want one that drones while cruising. I may install a 3" resonator if I can find one. Thanks all.

1. What is a great 3" inlet muffler?

2. Where can I find a 3" resonator?

why don't you just call up warpspeed for a 3" catback?

stay away from straight thru if you don't want drone... you might want to look at the dynomax super turbo

Ok, so the DynoMax Super Turbo won't drone or have bees in a can? If that is true, then that is it.....

i have to fully disagree. My friend has a TSi with 3inch exhuast (Thermal Research and Development, their a great company, friend had that exhuast on his SVT Focus too and it sounded GREAT), and its not loud at all. So i wouldnt say no matter what. With a dynomax, it will quiet down the loudness, yet give a nice deep tone at the same time. Its a great muffler and for the price?! 40bucks!?! cant beat that....

I had a dyno max turbo muffler and the drone drove me nuts.. I solved it with a 2k1 muffler... but I have sice gone back to a larger muffler with drone

and you may be correct... but all of the 3 inch systems I have heard have been loud

but thanks for the info...

I've been looking into a 3" Dynomax Turbo as a back up if I can't get any stock mufflers to mod. I may get one either with 1 3" out or 2 2.25" outs and see what it sounds like if I don't like it I'll mod my stock one and see how that fairs.

Well i also have a Y-pipe, and it still doesnt drone. I cant say anything about the Ultra Flow dynomax though, as i ordered that one, but immediately returned it (also 3" inlets). It looks like a big resonator, you could see right through it...
