Proof that Clear corners arent rice! LOL

Just saw one of the execs here where I work that has a 97 white SE, and it now has clear corners. I told him I like it, and he said thanks and told me that after he saw them on mine, he couldnt resist. Said they just looked to good to not have them. I took that as a compliment coming from a a 50+ yo guy. Now if I can only get him to lower it, we'll be all set.

my co worker is a 28 yr old black lady that is getting help from me modding her car. I just got her to order 17's and now she wants fog lights and clear corners. After that she wants it lowered. I am infecting everyone around me BTW she has a 96 GXE white

I know a guy that is a SWE Developer in his late 40's that dropped his his 5 speed Max with H&R's, got some nice wheels and rubbers to go along with it. He used to come to my cube and talk Maxima stuff all of the time until he got let go.

Yep. Us old guys can mod our cars too. If you have always been a carguy like I have, its second nature. Especially a car that looks as good as the Maxima. My sig below is proof. The VOLK's will be here is about 60 days. Oh, 47 in two months.

I wish my dad was into cars like that, but as you can see on my sig he is not

Audio - Two JL Audio 10" subs in a custom box w/JBL 300 watt amp, Polk EX3500 tweeters.
hehe, apparently 'older' guys can still have a taste for car audio as well. It's not often I pull up to a bumpin ride w/a 40+ year old guy sittin in the drivers seat. That'd get a thumbs up and a grin from me by default

Even *I* think clear corners on the max are a sign of good taste, and most appearance mods don't get the blizz seal of approval

yeah i think clear corners and RSB should be owned by anyone who has a Max...clears make it look tons better and the RSB makes it feel so much better on the road.

i was at ATCO the other day at a big event. I had one kid my age(20) ask me about my car. I had about 10 older dudes asking me what year it was and how fast it was and telling me that it looked really sweet.

there are so many maximas on the road now a days, i'm surprised that the owners dont know all the aftermarket available for them, and if they are modified....its something wierd like altezzas

Over 40 but not quite dead yet

Well, I was wondering if I was the only OVER 40 guy with a modded MAxima. I never got to do any sorta this stuff when I was younger because I didn't have the money (coin) to do so. I'm 44 this year. I've got a Charcoal Grey 95 Maxima SE with Full Stillen Aeror Kit, 17" Einkie RS5 rims, Dunlop Sport A2 tires, legal tint all around, FSTB, H&R Sport Springs with KYB Struts, Pioneer MP3 receiver with steering wheel remote, GTS tinted headlight covers, Reese sleeper trailer hitch, and chrome gauge ring overlay. My wife thought that I was going through midlifecrisis at first..but now knows that I'm just living my repressed teenage dreams while I can afford to do so. Now she even likes cruisin around in the car. My son-in-law is going to be stopping by today and picking up my new spoiler. He'll paint it at the body shop he works at. My new spoiler is a 53" Wings West that looks a lot like MaximaDave's. ANd if I can ever get a chance to call Budget Exhaust during their order taking hours, I'm going to get the Y pipe ordered. I do all of my own work...due in part to 'have to' experience working on some junkers in my earlier life. I'm ending up with a really tricked out ride. Had considered NOS, turbo, or SC...but know that it would do two bad things to me....1. Get me a ticket in less than a month and 2. most likely shorten the life of my 145,000 mile ride. I've had a lot of people look it over and ask me if it was a 2000+ model...or exactly what model it is. So, anyway, for you younger babes out there...the answer is "Yes" there is life after 40.
