Nissan Cefiro Estate Brougham V30

Folks,

If any of you have wished for a Maxima station wagon, it does exist. Nissan calls it the Cefiro Estate Brougham V30. It is sold in Malaysia, right hand drive. Perhaps it is available in other countries and I just have not found where yet.

Essentially, it looks like a Gen4 with a wagon body. I'd buy one tomorrow (at the right price), even if it is a "new" Gen4 - I need the additional space of a wagon, and our Sable is starting to get old.

Perhaps Nissan will import this vehicle or an updated version some day.

Heh, Nissan has been using the Brougham name for a long time overseas. This is a 1986 Nissan Cedric V30 Turbo Brougham VIP hardtop.

By the way, I find this very silly because traditionally, Brougham refers to a vehicle where the passengers are (completely) seperated from the drivers. This makes sense if you are into historic cars at all.

I'm from Malaysia, how ironic to see it come up

Ironically, I first saw the Cefiro wagon (and other JDM vehicles) only last year, going to see more this month. Will b gone for three weeks.

When I get back, I'm thinking of visiting the K1 Attack distributor to check out the Attack kit.

Brian, thanks for the pix. Looks alot smaller than I imagined. Somehow, I don't think Nissan will bring this car into the USA.

How the hell did you find a Stagea in the States???? Was it the turbo+AWD model? I'm guessing not, since that looks like its based on the FM platform (G35).

If they would add another 8" - 10" to the *** end to make the wagon larger and more practical, I'd buy it (at a reasonable price, of course!). From what we see in these pictures, my old Sable wagon has much more room, and that's why people buy station wagons.

Nissan sells a ton of cars that aren't available in the US. Look around their other country's websites

I hate america's regulations on cars. We would have much better cars if we didn't have all the regulations that we have.

The Cedric is UG-LY. Looks like a cross between a Cressida and an '82 Buick Regal.

What engine was in this model?
