Rim/tires stolen off of 2 cars at dealer!!

I went to the dealer on Monday to pick up a part that I ordered and all the parking spots up front were full, so I had to park around back. As I was driving back there, I noticed an '02 Sentra SE-R Vspec laying on the pavementwith all 4 wheels missing. It was just sitting on 3 bricks!

I went inside to get my part and asked the parts guy if he knew anything about it.
He told me that last night (Sunday) some punk a$$es came buy and swipes the rims/tires off that Sentra, and they did the same to a brand new '03 Max! I was pretty shocked to hear that that happend, since live in a very safe area without a lot of crimes like that.

So if any of you see some 17" '02 Sentra Spec V and/or '03 Maxima rims/tires for sale on Ebay, let me know and I'll tell the dealer. This happened at Nissan of North Olmsted, in Ohio (Cleveland area).
No matter how much I hate the service department there, I'd still like to help the dealer out since I bought my car there.

Thanks guys,
jason

Now, if the police would only find those jerks who stole the courteous, helpful, and competent staff from the dealers...

Actually, I like my dealer too.

Most dealerships don't have cameras. I am in the Jersey area and my dealer got hit in their storage lot, they took 49 pairs of HID's off of Maximas in one night. There was another dealer also close by who got some HIDs taken during the day, apparently they did not even lock the cars so the thieves had time to pop the hood and unscrew the lights.

even if they are on ebay, its gonna be hard to prove that they're stolen, i dont think rims have vin numbers on them

That's why I etch my license plate number on the back of one wheel, driv. lic on back of another one, first half of the vin on the 3rd wheel, and last half of the vin on the last one.

Hey, my rims sat in my living room for 8 months.. i got bored one day and carved away

It looked pretty bad. I think some (even an '04 Max) were left on rotors.
