I can't believe more of you people don't use an oil filter relocation kit so you can ditch those tiny nissan filters and go with one that has 2-4 times the capacity.
Even the techs at the infiniti and nissan dealers I go to think the oem filters are a joke , size wise ! !

I just thought of this reading a post on filters.

You can always fit a longer/bigger one on the max's stock location. My mom's 93' sentra filter is the same as the ones on the VE30. It's longer and bigger. It fits on the 4th gen max. I know because I tried it once. Oil filter relocation kit just clutters up the engine compartment.
