Flywheel Resurfacing

I'm starting my five speed conversion this week. Probably gonna install the pedals today or tomorrow, and actually drop the trannies and switch them out later on in the week. So my question is this....

If I'm just gonna put the whole assembly from one car to another, do I need to get my flywheel resurfaced? I didn't know if that was just if you got a new clutch, or if it had to be done everything it was taken out. I tried to search but we only get 2003 answers it seems

How does the donor flywheel look. I mean if it is in good condition then dont waste your money. If you are in doubt that get it resurfaced while it is still easily accessable.

Got mine resurfaced at Napa for $30 while installing new clutch set. Started off blued and worn - looked like brand new when they were done with it. For $30 you can't go wrong. Get it resurfaced.
