Car feels weak at upper rpms

Mine's a 2000SE Auto, and it feels a bit sluggish as the revs get above 5k. I thought it was Variable Intake not engaging, but i can hear it engage everytime. So then i thought it was YPipe Flex section, so checked that today, and its in perfect working order, the cat is also fine. thought it could be air filter, cleaned that, checked TB and intake piping, and its all clear. Had the plugs replaced yesterday with OEM, the ones i pulled were all in good shape as well. Any ideas? Or am i just imagining things?

well, the VQ motor is more of a low end-mid range motor, it starts to choke when it hits the high RPM's......max power is somewhere in the middle of the rpm band

Not true for his VQ30DE-K or any VQ30DE with variable intake manifold.

As other have said...Check your fuel filter. I think it is ridiculous that Nissan doesn't recommend replacing the fuel filter regularly on 5th gen's. My car is low on power too and I just ordered a fuel filter from DaveB.
