I have a 92 Max SE with the VE engine and I can't seem to find a strut bar for it. I called Courtesy Nissan and they said that the FSTB for my model does not fit the VE engine. They also said they don't know if any other years will fit mine. I was wondering if any1 has put a FSTB on their 92 SE VE engine. Thanks

Yea, but they don't make any for the VE engine. Only the SOHC. Some ppl have said that a 2000-2003 will fit, but I'm not sure.

I *believe* the 2000 - 2003 FSTB will fit.

I know someone here in Vancouver who put one on his Max. I'll have to check my emails when I get home a little later.

Anyhow, he had heard the same thing and bought a 4th gen bar, it didn't fit and is now installed in my Max.

I'll double check later and let you know.

I have a 2000-2003 bar and it fits perfectly. I've tried it on two different 92 maximas with the VE engine and it fit both like a glove. Buy one on Ebay for $15 + shipping.

yeap 5th gen strut bar is what you will be needing, if you dont want the ebay bar, you can get the stillen one, which pretty much does the same thing for 10 times the price
