yeah i took off the moldings myself....all you need is a heat gun, or even a hairdryer will work, heat up the adhesive behind the molding a little and it basically just peels right off. there will be some adhesive left on the doors but a little alcohol and some rubbing does the trick.

and the interior is just painted....kinda easy, but i've always been good at paint stuff; model cars, etc. just take off all the peices you wanna paint scrub them really good with soap and water. then you need to be sure to spray a good primer layer and then the top coat. i also put a clearcoat on mine, but i dont know that its necessary.

are the moldings held on by just ahesive or are they also held on by those plastic snap on thingies?...assuming that you used a heat gun, how long did it take you to do the whole thing.?......also, where the moldings used to be on your car, is there any holes or anything like that...or is it just the indent from the molding? ..
What type of paint do you use to paint your interior?...and when you painted the handle on your glove box & the side of your door, did you take the whole piece out, or did u just take it off and paint it?

PS: how did u learn how to take off the side moldings? j/w

yeah they are just held on with adhesive so no holes are left afterwards, just the indent from the molding.

i used white semi-gloss krylon from wal-mart, and i also got the same brand primer. just about any paint will work, just make sure its not some cheap crap or something. for the handle what i did was take the whole thing out and paint it. well i mean i took the handle off the glove box and then painted it. it comes out pretty easy.
