Vinyl Decals...

How would you remove vinyl decals off the car? Like how to remove decals off glass. And how to remove decals off the body. Drop in with some info please. Peace.

Carefully! lol j/k use a heat gun and "BRAND" new razor blade and some windex. I would suggest that you hold the blade in your hand insted of a holder. Heat it up a BIT spray a little windex heat a bit more, then go at it with the blade. Good luck and be careful.

next time go magnetic. or remove vinyl after only a month. else it starts to think it is paint. vinyl is really only meant to be temporary like wearing clothes.

It really depends on the quality of the vinyl. My brother owns a sign company and the outdoor vinyl they use will last 10-20 years in Las Vegas sun without fading or peeling.

I made some stuff out of it (computer controlled vinyl cutting machine) for my back window on my old car - came off easy after 2 years of being on there. I'm sure it would be similar with good paint.
