ok guys i was just wanting to know in general how hard is it to do a engine swap(take one engine from one car and put it in another). Reason being is that my friend with a 3rd gen trans am got into a acceident and now his car is recked. We just found another car just like his with no engine and the body is in way better shape. Im just wondering is it very hard to do or just got to take your time and just do it

 

for a mechanic it probably wont be hard, but definitey time consuming

 

usually if you have to ask a question like this its best to let a pro do it instead...maybe 10-12 hours total for a pro
