PO160 code ???

Hey guys, since i had no answer to this thread:
http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?threadid=234398

I though asking here and see if I can get some answers. Sunday I had a PO160 code, I erase the code we my OBD II Digital code reader, it did not came back so far and my car is running A1, but still it intrique me because the code description says" O2 sensor Circuit No activity Detected ( Bank 2 Sensor 2 )" would that be the O2 sensor near the main cat ?

Thanks for help.

Reason you are getting no responses is because we don't usually use the P Codes.. we usually use the other codes.. let me check my FSM and see if i can pull it up by that code for you..

oh btw.. i think that might be one of the front oxygen sensors

Hey SprintMax, do you think I should take no chance and change that O2 sensor ? I erased the code and did not came back so far but I suspect it is just a matter of time before it does. Do you know how much the O2 sensor goes for ? My car is just running fine anyway.

Thanks bro.

rear 02 sensors don't affect the cars performance.. they only monitor the cat..

Replace it at your own leasure.. its really no rush.. rear 02 sensors usually go from $85 - $150 .. i suggest getting an OEM one from the dealership

à

Thank youy SprintMax, today I ordered one for 57$ CDN, around 30$ US.
It still under warranty, but I dont want to deal with the father like speach of the dealer because of my mods, they are unaware of my mods, ( Y-pipe, exhaust, intake )

Cheers
