I picked up a couple maxima.org stickers online here and have NO idea how to apply them?? Are they straight up vinyl stickers? Do you need water to apply them? It seems if I try to peel the clear plastic backing off some letters tend to stick to the waxy paper, others to the plastic, which is no good

Rub the clear plastic so the letters stick to it when pulling off the wax paper . Use your fingers to rub them, each letter that is and keep doing it until you see the letters coming off with the plastic. When you finally have all the letters on the clear, seperate the clear from the wax paper. Then you just decide where you want to put the decal and place it on there and rub the platic hard, so the letters stick and then just peel the clear off. Now you may want to go over the letters with your fingers to make sure they're on there good.

 

The (.) DOT is kinda gay sometimes...but I just peeled mine off the backing manually and placed it in between the 'Maxima' and 'Org'. Just make sure you press hard.

 

Maybe I'm crazy (and I'll look again when I go home), but what you guys are saying is that the sticky part of the final sticker is touching the waxpaper??? And ultimately before applying the sticker I need to have all the letters ONLY on the clear plastic??? That would mean the sticker is on the inside of the window?

 

no, if you put it on the inside, it'll look inverted when people see it from the outside. the sticker goes on the outside of your window.

 

Thats my dilema... If I peel off the waxpaper, leaving the letters on the plastic as suggested above, then place whats left on the outside of the window, its gonna be GRO.AMIXAM on the outside of my windows!

 

no no no, the sticker is sticky on the same side as the wax paper so it will go on correct

 

i lost my dot from custommaxima.com, but they gave me an additional one after my RSB, which i replaced the dot with.
