blown Shock?

blown Shock?
How do you know if the shock is blown? or bad shock?
i had my KYB shocks installed and from one of the rear shock it makes a clucking noise when ever going over bummpy road or speed bumps.
and i can duplicate the sound by pressing up and down on that corner of the car.
any inputs will be great. thanks
