smog test comin up soon... anybody got stickers i can borrow?

anybody got some stickers tat i can tape it on my intake to pass the visual part of my smog test?

Yeah, my bro failed his inspection oin his '92 Eclipse GS-T, because of his "opened and exposed air filter". They said you can't have any exposed air filters, not even K&N[I asked]. Arent K&N's legal?

laws are different in every state. if it's really that big of a problem, stick the freakin OEM intake on it and you're fine for the next year.

if you guys have aftermarket intakes and y-pipes, and when it comes to inspection time do you guys put back onthe OEM intake an y so you can pass?

Hm, would they prefer if you put a heat shield over the cone filter? Might still be "exposed" though.

smog guy didnt say a word about my intake. just make shure all the sensors are plugged in.

too lazy... nissan did some magic to those stock intake system, they have freakin 10 different little parts tat takes hella long to put it back.

what inspection?? since when was an intake illegal here??

the only "illegal" intake problem i've heard was when my friend didn't have a stock air can (or metal peice surrounding the filter).

if intakes are legal @ CA, the i shouldn't worry about the visual part of the testin then.

Actually, I just had my smog check and since I didn't have the CARB sticker under the hood (left it in my old maxima), they gave me trouble about it. When I went back in for the re-test I found the EO number for the stillen intake online and just gave it to them.
