300zx brake conversion question

I've been thinking about doing a 300zx brake conversion, but I don't know what rotors and pads I should use. I have heard of people using Mitsu 3000GT rotors.... can I use drilled/slotted zx rotors? Thanks in advance.

I am not sure about the 3000GT rotors. But you are safest going with ZX rotors and yes you can use drilled/slotted.

Ur easiest bet is using the stock ZX rotors. You do have to mill them down by 6mm meaning instead of being 11" in diameter, they will be 10.75". As for 3000GT rotors, it's possible but you need a bracket to offset and reposition the caliper for fittment. Any more questions just post up.

I went with the 300zx rotors, but I got the cross-drilled and slotted rotors. They work beautifully. I would suggest going to a larger rotor because it would grab even more, and it would look asthetically correct. Right now, the 300zx caliper is SO MUCH LARGER than the rotor and it looks off-balanced, but hey, it works like a champ.

Thanks everyone. I was probably going to get the 300zx rotors anyway, I had just heard about using the 3000GT rotors and I was wondering what that was all about.
