from brief reading on the audi forums the 2S system seems to be a bit overloading

bags - Thanks, but got cliff notes....I can't stand that format.

I'm pretty sure I'm going with the 1S setup, but the 2S and fuel control sounds interesting.

Any prices? If your turbo, I can't see why you wouldn't have one@!!!!! Beats paying $5/gallon for 100+ octane. I got some 112 in my garage, I'm going to play with.

100+ octane scares me right now..lol

EVERYTHING scares me right now.. my cars feels very fast to me. And I am making leaps into new power, not steps.

So I am just being cautious of everything.

But looking at the end of the tunnel is a very fun thing to do.

And I am scratching the surface of MANY upgrades. I am just tyring ti understand as much as I can.

And the newest thing on my mind is Ntercooler kit

"100+ scares me right now" It just makes you run with more of a safety margin UNLESS you decide to capitalize on it's anti-detonation abilities and up the boost even more.

Ntercooler kit is sweet, however I believe you'd benefit more from the alcohol/water injection due to the in-cylinder cooling and the effective octane increase from the alcohol.

With the 100+ octane I WILL turn up the boost...

With WI I WILL up the boost.. and my mid term goal is 10 PSI and Long term goal is 12-14 PSI

However, with ALL the talk about maf's and ecu's and cam's and injectors... I am taking it $lowly, so I can optimize my $$$$ to HP ratio

SMART smart man bags...I'd be doing the same.

Sorry, I'm just living through your mods. Hopefully, someday I'll install my own and get some N20 to hold me over until I go turbo.

Did you dyno tune yet?

As for all the other toys like a maf, J&S, WI, ecu, cams, injectors, I'd save the money and maximize your turbo setup. Until you hit a "wall", I don't think you can find a cheaper bang for your buck then turning up the boost.

As for the "wall", I'm betting detonation will be your next hurdle.

Yeah, last dyno was 227 WHP 230 WTQ....

But I am making more power now.

The butt dyno and a few "tests" have confirmed that.

I need to check my fuel and plugs today , then is the weather holds.. TRACK tomorrow

And yeah after the huge loss I took I am trying to be smarter not harder..

Live through my mods.. I have lived through matt and jay25 and sx7r, cheston, kev, lordrandll, etc.....

And one thing I am looking into is not cam gears, but the cam shaft. I am making more exhust gasses now, if I can get them to flow better I will make more intake air, thus more power

If Mardi is putting down 430ish, Nigel is putting down 450+, and Adam/Kev put down 300+whp with stock cams, I think I'd wait on that.

Cams are very complicated and tricky to get right IMO without some serious dyno time.

Good luck though and we need all the PIONEERS we can get!
