the tires and rims are almost brand new. they both have about 5500 miles on them. This is not a F/S post but rather an oipinion post. I want to get my smooth ride back again plus my steel rims/tires were quieter than current ones. The whole ubcap set is still sitting in my garage. Also, a question for all you fanatics. How much do 97 hubcaps with tires weight vs. 95 se 15" rims/tires..is either of those combos lighter? i want the lightest 15" rim/tire combo for as little $$$ as possible.thanks

Hi

I happen to love those mags. I have a 2000 SE and am on 16" right now and considering getting 17" this spring. I'm also concerned about the ride getting rougher, but I love the look. If you want to sell them let me know. What tires are you running?

To answer your question...

The alloy rims prolly weigh less than the hubcaps. Why? because those are steel. The alloys are most likely aluminum. I think the whole steel wheel and tire combo is 22 lbs, I dunno about the alloys.

If you're interested I'd be more than willing to trade you my 15" enkei racing's + money for your rims. They're alloy so they'll be lighter than your steel rims.

Let me know.
