Squeaky Driver Window

My driver side window has started squeaking/squealing whenever I roll it up or down. It's been going on for about a week now. It sounds like the rubber on the door is dry and is scraping against the window (almost like somebody scratching a chalkboard). Has anyone else had this problem? And if so, was there a quick and easy fix for it?

My mechanic suggested using silicone spray on all the weather stripping and I have been using it for a couple of years now on all my vehicles. Works wonders. I soak an old cloth with the stuff and wipe down all the rubber especially where it contacts the glass.

Hey thanks for the tip. The silicone won't affect my tint at all will it? I don't think silicone is a very corrosive agent, is it?
