ok so me and Synki went to the 350z/RSX/lots of other cars Meet in Paramus last weekend and we got some highway video footage :-)

well there would have been more of the maxima but the ride was too bumpy in the wrx so the video got all shaky and messed up. :-(
No worries i am gonna make a video of my car by itself sometime before i leave for school.

Your car looks great on the road, time to get boost and get rid of the dead weight of the sound system in the trunk.

What kind of roll were you guy's going from? I have heard that 3rd gear in a WRX is pretty slow.

 

We raced from about 60mph or so.

3rd gear is actually one of the strongest gear in the WRX. Its the 4th and 5th gearing that is horrible. Normally on the 5MT, 4th gear goes to 135mph normally but with my upped redline, I can hit 139mph before using 5th gear. My 4th gear is a strong as my other gears, but that is due to all the mods.

Most of the pulls, I just used 3rd gear. I did use 4th for a couple of the pulls as well. There was one or two pulls where I used 2nd which wounded out way too fast so I decided to just start in 3rd.

Everytime we went off, it would take a minute for me to hit full boost - my turbo is VERY laggy.
