Car looks good. Very clean and professional. How do you find your STS? What brand is it, and is it 'notchy' at all?

The way he mixed the tan with the black, is original on a maxima and has been executed aesthetically well.

mah bad.. i thought you were talking about something tan in the engine bay

yeah the tan isn't the greatest, but I try and keep it as clean as possible.. if I keep modding this car I am going to completely strip the interior down and do 1 solid color like cherry red (m3's) or burnt orange (audi tts) and do a suede/leather combo..

thanks though.

Here's the full progression of suspension

Air Ride - got tired of it, sold it

went to Weapon R coilovers w/ koni yellows

Got a new better air ride setup

switched to Sprint/AGX

then to ground control

and now to JIC's.

He changes suspensions like most people change CD's.

What? No Stg 5?

How much HP (crank wise) do you expect?

I am not sure how well the T3/T04E is with the VQ but I know on EJ motors they are VERy laggy turbos.

How much peak boost do you expect? What about boost at redline? Will you hold full boost at redline or have it tapper off?

Well, the turbo has been in the car for several weeks now. It puts down 256 whp and 254 tq at 5 psi.

On the VQ, it is definitely not laggy. Guess the extra displacement helps. Jason's car starts boosting around 2500 rpm and full boost is right before 3000 rpm. 240 ft/lbs tq are available below 3000 rpm, so there is very little lag.

And at 5 psi, at least it holds that all the way through redline.

The wastegate is on a 7 - 9 lb spring, but his duals are choking it to 5. With the 3" exhaust he's gettign shortly, we should see the full 7 lbs of boost.

that low-end torque is very impressive if you ask me. I definitely need to get back into the work force real soon, as in before this kit becomes available for purchase.

I know, I know it is impressive I would love to be able to hit 3K and be puttin down 100+ more ft-lbs of torque. Thats the one thing the S/C cant do, its too linear but it works w/o the problems the turbos have been seeing. What I really want to see though, is some1 perfect the turbo setups. PFI I belive has come the closest, the last thing im interested in is 0 compression. Its happened too often if you ask me.

If some1 pefects the kit, im definetly in the market for one in the future.

I still dont know if im gonna stick auto or convert to 5spd. I was planning on giving Level 10 a call once mine started to slip but im not too sure...
